We used to tape pictures from the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue to the overhead projector pull-down screen. Good for a few laughs. We also would hide all the erasers or chalk.
More recently, however, the professor using the room before me used to leave the whiteboard covered with the remains of his lecture…expecting ME to erase it.
I complained a few times and he still persisted. So, I sent my students in 15min before his class and had them blacken the entire board with markers and then write “Erase me” in the middle of the board….never had a problem since.Leave the door open, if you have a camera or a phone face that phone towards the door, go on a video call with that phone so you can see the door and leave the door unlocked, tell your mates to just come in, and you’ll know when they come in coz you’ll have that camera facing the door, and then pretend like the house is empty, turn of all the lights and get a spoon and smash it with another spoon and then hide again, they will literally look everywhere for you. Say there’s a robber in your house.
Military Aircraft
The Air Force would convene an aircraft accident investigation, as is standard with any accident. They reconstruct the plane from wreckage and examine all the pieces to determine the fault that led to the loss. They check the flight data recorders to determine settings and aircraft status when the incident occurred. They also extensively question the pilot, under oath, as well as maintenance personnel, air traffic controllers, and every person related to the incident.
It will be impossible hide the fact the aircraft was operating normally and there were no mechanical faults that caused the loss. That would point to pilot error. This would lead to extreme scrutiny of the pilot’s actions and their statements under oath. It is likely the pilot’s statements made would not square with the evidence found on the flight data recorders.
If it is determined there is evidence to charge the pilot with criminal offenses under the UCMJ, a General Court-Martial would be convened. The pilot could be charged with offenses relating to intentional loss of the aircraft, as well as the results of the damage caused when it crashed. If it caused a loss of life on the ground, there could be charges of murder (Article 118, UCMJ).
Another time, right before the lecture, it was really stormy. Just as I was about to go in, the lightning flashed…I waited 3 sec for the thunder to arrive and made my entrance.
