For WhatsApp, you need videos which are short, crisp and which appeal to mass audience. Searching for them on YouTube is the best option.
There are some great Indian stand up comics like Abhishek Upmanyu, Vipul Goyal, Zakir khan, Kanan Gill, etc. If you search them on youtube, If you will get tons of great videos. Internationally I like Kevin Hart, Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld.
I have started my sketch comedy channel in the Hindi language. It's about the life of a small-town Indian guy called Pappu. Pappu is a street smart and witty guy. He is optimistic, excited and always up for challenges in life.

The answer to this relies upon the definition of “original idea.”
If you mean it to be an idea that has 100% nothing but original, never before been done, never seen, never thought content, then most likely, yes - originality is essentially gone. There’s almost always some parallel to another idea that has been done before.
But if you mean it to be an idea/end concept that has some, but not all, original content, or an original take on and old concept, then statistically, no, never. There’s just too many ways to statistically “reinvent the wheel” (make it X color, make it Y diameter, make it Z width - even with those 3 parameters, you will find a combination that has never been done before, therefore it is original).

That’s the great thing about comedy and sketch comedy right now - so much of it is online. Back when I first started, you had to track down everything, and it was really hard to do it. There were certain comedy shows that would have videotapes of seasons that were out there, but even those were few and far between.
Steve Martin standup- you would have three specials out there that you could reliably rent, or a Chris Elliott HBO special that I used to rent all the time from the local video store. It was very difficult to track down stuff. And now almost everyone can put their stuff online, so almost any sketch from any group you would want to see is out there.
I think, for me, its just about finding something that speaks to you. The thing about good sketch comedy is that it is unique to that performer’s sensibility, so that means it’s not going to be popular with everyone. So if you’re writing a sketch that’s popular with a large group of people, it either means its not very specific, or it means it was really specific and something about it struck the audience’s fancy at that one specific time.
