Any TOOL videos are amazing. The creativity, attention to detail and just overall craftsmanship are astounding.
Parabol/Parabola is a great one. There's a little creature in the video that gets dissected, and the attention to detail in his anatomy is just mind-blowing. Stinkfist is also a great video. The images and textures really illustrate the music well, though there may not be a connection between the lyrics and the images. But the tone of each matches up perfectly. One of the best and most mesmerizing videos is the one for Prison Sex. (Please don't let the titles of the songs turn you off to them, the content of the songs is very profound and thought provoking.) This video was actually disallowed from airing on MTV due to it's heavy subject-matter. This is amazing to me due to the fact that its created using stop-motion animation. I don't want to ruin it for you by telling what happens, but there are two little characters in the video, and I'm always blown away by how viscerally emotional you feel for each of these non-speaking characters in only a spam of 4 or so minutes.
